Las Mañanitas - TVC

A journey through flavour, texture and celebration.

Las Mañanitas takes its name from the traditional Mexican song shared at birthdays and celebrations. For this 20-second commercial, our starting point was the brand’s connection to those moments of togetherness, and the character of its artisanal blanco tequila. We wanted to translate its tasting notes into a vivid, tactile world, leading from intimate details of citrus, flowers and agave to the final bottle reveal.

The film brings together imagery developed in Midjourney, animation with Seedance 2.5, Kling and Grok, and extensive work with GPT-6 Astra in Blender and After Effects. That combination allowed us to explore the imagery while shaping the movement, typography and finishing in detail.

The client’s tasting notes became our visual starting point: citrus peel, orange blossom and gardenia, green agave, minerals and white pepper, followed by a fresh mint finish.

We translated these descriptions into close-up compositions where petals, fruit and leaves meet suspended droplets and moving liquid.

We created the stills in Midjourney, then animated them using Seedance 2.5, Kling and Grok. Light, colour and liquid carry the sequence from warm citrus tones through soft white flowers to the cooler blues and greens of agave and mint.

Building the packshot with GPT-6 Astra and Blender

For the closing shot, we worked with GPT-6 Astra in Blender to develop the bottle animation and camera move. We refined the rotation, pullback and deceleration into the final composition, giving the reveal a carefully controlled pace.

We then fed the Blender viewport animation into Seedance 2.5 as the motion reference for the final imagery. This let us establish the movement in 3D before developing the finished look: glass, reflections and a bright, celebratory setting around the bottle.

Letter by letter in After Effects

GPT-6 Astra was also closely involved in the After Effects work. We separated the original logo artwork into individual letters, arranged them against the edit and built centred scale animations with a consistent rate of movement across different shot lengths.
